Hello my lovely ladies and gents! Today I have an exciting new subscription box to share with you guys! It’s my Birchbox subscription for October 2015! It might not be new to most people. I’m sure a lot of you have heard about Birchbox. But it is new to me.
I never considered Birchbox because I always wanted more full size products when it came to subscription boxes. For those of you not familiar with Birchbox, they are a subscription box company that sends out samples sized products every month for $10 a box. Lately I’ve been seeing more and more people post their Birchbox with samples of items that I want to try with a decent amount of product despite the fact that they are sample sizes. So I decided to give it a try and it turned out better than I could have hoped. This is probably my 4th box now and I have loved every box so far. I’ve ended up trying everything in the box and loved most if not all things that I received.
So I guess it goes without saying that I am very satisfied with Birchbox! Anyways, here’s what I recieved for the month of October.
Alright, I know it doesn’t look like much but there’s a bunch of awesome things in this box. And it’s really pretty!
This is the Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo. I have heard so many amazing things about this dry shampoo. I’ve been so curious about it but I just couldn’t bring myself to spend that much money when my favorite dry shampoo (Batiste) is only $7. Less if I have coupons. I want to see if it can really beat my Batiste and if it’s worth the splurge.
Next is the Eyeko Black Magic Mascara. I have never heard of this brand before but it does spark my interest. I’ve never seen a mascara in a tube before and I do like the brush at first glance. So I hope I end up liking this mascara.
This one is called ModelCo Ultra Long-Lasting Lipstick in Kitty. Personally, I don’t have high hopes for this. I’ve been way too disappointed by this brand. I’ve yet to find a product I like from this brand. But it is a nice color. I did swatch it but I lost the picture of the swatch. Swatching it went smoothly. It was creamy and felt hydrating on my hand but the pigmentation was lackluster. I’ll leave it at that.
This is the Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre. Good thing they have a description on the Birchbox flier because the description on the product was in french. This moisturizer claims that it heals dryness and preps the skin for makeup. So I guess it’s a primer and a moisturizer too? Those are huge claims for a moisturizer though.
Last but not the least is the Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels. I’m always excited when I get samples like these. I have panda eyes and always looking for ways to treat them or make them appear better. These types of pads are usually hard to come by and when they do, they cost a fortune and only have 5 packs in one set which usually means 5 uses. So I’m excited to try it!
Anyways thanks for stopping by!
Until next time!
I’ve had good run with Ipsy for probably a year now but it’s time for me to let go. This will be my last Ipsy box. There’s nothing wrong with Ipsy but for a few months now, I haven’t been getting anything that I’ve been interested in. I tried changing up my quiz and even doing more surveys of the products that I have received the past few months but sadly, nothing’s worked. Ironically, I decided to unsubscribe last month, but the last box they sent me ended up being a box that I would love. However, that has not changed my decision. I don’t want to get 4 month’s worth of boxes to be all misses then have the 5th box to be hit. It’s just not worth it anymore.
Since it’s my last box, I decided to share it with you guys! Enjoy!
Even though, I love nyx palettes, this might go to my mom. I have too many colors like this and I don’t need more but my mom will certainly enjoy it.
Can’t wait to try these and very timely too. With fall and winter coming, my skin is gonna be as dry as the desert.
I love nail polishes like these! Especially for the fall! There’s just something so fun about having a dark blood red nail polish. This nail polish is called Ignite.
I’ve received something from this company before and honestly, I can’t remember if I liked it or not. But I’m guessing since I don’t remember, it was either a miss or mediocre. However, this one is not. I love the color and definitely something I would wear. I was also surprised about the swatch. The swatch was very creamy, smooth and pigmented. This color is called One Night Stand.

~Hello my lovelies!~
Today, I finally finished editing my Popsugar Must Have Unboxing video for May 2015. I had pictures of all of them but some how, they went poof on my camera ;( But I do show all of them in my video. So I hope you enjoy!
If you want more detailed pics of each item, then please go to the website for Popsugar Must Have Box.
So here is my unboxing! Hope you like it!
Hello everyone! Today, I have my last Boxy Charm! I will be unboxing for you in the video and I will have photos of all the products below the video. BoxyCharm is a beauty monthly subscription company. I highly recommend them. However, I have reached a point where I do not want to venture and find new cosmetics company through subscription boxes. My collection has grown quite big and I am satisfied with it. If I want something, then it will be specific and I will purchase that one and not from a subscription box. It’s been fun getting my Boxy Charm in the mail every month but all good things come to an end. But if you are interested in growing your collection and finding new cosmetics then I highly recommend BoxyCharm.
If you are interested in Boxy Charm then you can find them here.
Enjoy the video!
I already have this fragrance which I received from another subscription box that I was previously subscribed to. Nonetheless, I liked it and it now sits in my purse for when I forget to put on perfume in the morning.
So far, I like this one. I have yet to try it but it swatched well on my hand. However, I did not like the packaging. The compact felt cheap and as if it was made out of plastic.
A miss for me like all the other ModelCo products that have been sent to me through subscription boxes. The pigmentation is lacking. It looks like clear lip gloss on my hand and it is very VERY sticky.
I’m interested in this one. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m open to it. I still have yet to find the perfect leave in conditioner.
This one surprised me the most. I wanted the Revealed 3 palette (and I still do) but I didn’t expect this one to be this gorgeous. The picture on the packaging doesn’t compare to seeing it in person which is ironic. Most cases, pictures are supposed to be emphasized and usually never as good as the actual thing in person but this one really surprised me.
Thanks for stopping by! Catch you guys next time!
